Zuma - I have always charged the 1900mAh battery in the deskcharger ($5 from Hong Kong) and just swapped the battery in the morning leaving the spare in the charger until the next day. Can't even say how long it takes to charge it.
Today the battery shows still 4 bars after 48h (also I have used the phone less than usual during this time). Looks like it is still improving.

the thing is i don't want to use a deskcharger and swap out the battery everyday.
i don't mind charging up a spare battery to take away with me if i'm going somewhere, but for everyday use i prefer to just plug in the charger.
i am wondering if after charging it up a few times, the battery starts responding properly when being charged in the phone.
i wonder if when the bettery runs out, you could try charging it in the phone. if it stops charging after about 45 minutes then it's still not working properly.
cheers

Howdy all,
Just wanted to revive this thread.
Those of you who have and have had this super-duper battery for some time now... How is it performing?
Just want to post an observation which is already given in another thread. By changing the Tools->settings->network ->network settings from dual network mode (GSM + UMTS) set it to just GSM and you get an improved battery life of abt 3~4 hrs.
Can you let me know if the desktop charger is okay. I purchased one from Blue Unplugged but it sat on the pin and did not sit down properly.

Avoid at all costs. Absolutley rubbish. Same charger as the cheap one on Ebay for double the price. The power lead wont even stay in the hole without dropping out. The phone doesnt sit in the cradle, just a crappy lead. Only the spare battery sits in it.
And is it possible to have an update on the so called 1900 mAh battery
I think we all know its just a regular 750 mAh battery with a different label on,
Maybe somebody who bought one can let us know how it performed
