It's that time of the month again. I've updated the all-encompassing Grid again, this time with tweaked figures for the E61 and an all-new entry, the Nokia N80. Enter your preferences and let the Grid calculate the right device for you... Why not post the results in the Comments here?

Wow!! Great work.
I end up with N80 as the perfect choice (which is the phone i now have) and the N70 as a runner up (my previous phone)!
Good stuff!
Works for me. According to the grid the N80 matches my requirements, and the one I have does..
:icon14:
Funny - thought with the emphasis on email and tasks etc the E61 would win. Good job I have one.
Slart.
Ended up with the N80, which is the phone i already have 😊
I too ended up with the N80 as the winner and the E61 as the runner up when I filled in the criteria. I have an E61. The N80 is far from fitting my criteria. The reason I got the E61 was mostly because of the large screen, QWERTY and the excellent battery life - all of which the N80 is lacking.
I really don't get how you can justify giving the N80 the same score on battery life as the E61. Surely they are a world apart. I also don't get how the 9300 can score a 10 and the E61 an 8 - I have both and although the 9300 has a decent battery life the E61's 1500mAh battery is vastly superior. The 9500 also has a higher capacity battery than the 9300, and in my experience it does actually work longer in real life use too. My rating would be more like: E61 - 10, 9500 - 9, 9300 - 8, N80 4? - I haven't used the N80, but from looking at the battery specification and reading user reviews, it does clearly not belong up there with the other phones mentioned.
There are plenty more ratings I don't agree with, but I'm not going to go and on about it. I'd just like to mention the 'Screen size/resolution' part where the *size* part is obviously redundant as the tiny N80 screen gets a 9 and the almost twice as big E61 screen gets a 5. In actual use a 2.8 inch screen with a 320x240 resolution is much easier to work with (be it web browsing or document handling or whatever) than a 2.1 inch screen with a 352x416 resolution. The same goes for 'Video playback' (and to some degree 'Image display/photography'😉 where a big display capable of displaying 16 million colours deserves a higher rating (yes, I really can see a difference between a screen capable of displaying 16mill colours and one capable of 'only' 262k).
And also web browsing where the 7710 and the N80 both got a 9 and the E61 got an 8. The 7710 has a great, big screen with a great, big resolution, but what good is that when the browser is slow as hell and the phone has poor connectivity options (no 3G, no Wi-Fi)? The N80 also has a great resolution, but what good is that when the print becomes too small to read on the tiny screen, and you have too zoom in to the point where the resolution might as well be the old 176x208? I guess I did go on and on after all... 🙄
Raven, right on the money! N80 screen is physically too small and battery life is terrible. I've used it some time, but didn't like mainly because of those two reasons. Still I got N80 as 1st choice, and N70 second. I think the grid should be tweaked a bit, because I should get E61 as the 1st option 😊
Steve, when you get some UIQ3 models there and N73/N93 it gets interesting again!
Eekk... it seems I added my N80 column in too much of a hurry! You're absolutely right and I've tweaked the scores where necessary. Raven and Slartibartfast, please try again and report back!
Having said all this, the N80's resolution is still pretty huge, despite the normal physical size. As long as you have the eyesight to go with it 8-)

N70 winner, my upgrade
6630 runner up, owned for the last year.

Yep, got the E61 as the winner this time, the N80 was the runner up which seems a bit odd, but definitely better now. :icon14:
ok ... N80 is the best for me with two camera.
E61 is good but it is useless for me with no camera support .
N80 first and N92 second
