Anyone who bought them all before is probably kicking themself now.
LOL - I was going to post that, but then I thought no, if people have them they might not think about it that way until someone mentions it, and I also though if I say something like that DR might withdraw the offer or refrain from doing it in the future...
:x-mas:
are these games any good? I'll get the pack if so
😉 Well It's worth buying...
Digital-Red will have more advantages for old users who have bought one or more or all Digital-Red games, they would not kick themself, I promist 😉 😉
Is this some kind of hint or is there something new's comming up... during this Christmas. 😉
Nice Games, Really.
And for those that fears, there is a demo option afterall.
I like very much some of their games... 😉
Hi,
Well, I finally got around to registering (been posting on & off for a while now).
Anyway, to stay on topic: I broke with my rule of not buying software, & bought the 6-pack on Friday, & it's not bad at all. Shuffleboard (in particular) is surprisingly addictive! 😊
However, although Nightmare, Bowling, Shuffleboard & Horse Racing ran without a hitch, I can't get either Fisherman or Magiclines to run - I keep getting the dreaded "Kern-Exec, reason: 3" error. I tried doing the installs from the .sis files both from my PC & on the phone itself, but still no joy. Any suggestions, gentlefolk?
I'm running a 9210 with Firmware version 4.13(6).
This happends to all of us. It is not related to those games..
Try to kill TRS (i mean the programs that runs in the background) using Task Man or Switcher or AppManager.
When you have no programs left, try starting those games.
I supose you trieds also to reboot-restart and strart the games you are reffering to. If not, this is a hint you must follow as well.
Cheers
Thanks for the tips, TheSpecialBoy, but still no luck so far. 😞 I even tried killing the Telephone app, something I never normally need to do, but still no luck. Would uninstalling them & reinstalling them to another MMC card be worth a try, perhaps? Or is it a problem with memory allocation within the device itself?
BTW, as a newbie, I'm a bit underpracticed at the etiquette on these boards: Should I just start another thread on this instead? I sort of feel that this is a technical question rather than a gaming issue, & I don't want to give anyone here a falsely negative opinion of Digital Red's software - the ones I've got working so far have been pretty good stuff: that's why I'm so keen to get the others going as well! 😊
It's your choice. But starting a new thread in 9210/9290 forum will probably give faster and better responses 😉
Dusty:It's best practice to contact a company directly with your question (email them maybe) and only if they can't help you ask around on forums, maybe someone else knows...
there's a very good chance that they can help you😊
PS.when you email them, it would be best to tell them how much memory you have got left free on your device so they can immediatelly see if it's enought for their game.

😃 Hi Dusty,
Welcome aboard...
Shuffleboard was a cool game indeed... (loved hitting the opponents to the drain..hehehe...) anyway regarding your problem i have before encountered such error... what i did is that i dload new installer from their website... and it was finally okay... fisherman was well-known for such error... so try downloading it here:
http://www.worldup.com/download/download_fisherman.htm
p/s: 😉 u can also dload the manual there...
Thanks for that, Nosferatu - that sorted it out. It looks like the zip file containing all 6 games includes slightly older builds of these two games. & downloading the .sis files individually as you suggested allowed me to install the up-to-date versions instead, both of which worked with no problems. Plus I now have the manuals for all the games as well, so I can finally understand what my betting means in Horse Race! 😉
I guess it's probably not a bad thing that I kept this in this thread after all then: it might save someone else some time! 8)
😃 No Problemo... always a pleasure... and yeah, HORSERACE game is kinda nice once u understood the gameplay and its pretty popular among 9210 gamers in Malaysia... lotsa gamblers around i guess...
😉 Do visit the gaming forum frequently as we are always here to help/solve most of your gaming needs...
