And those icons could also be changed, if its not too much trouble?
I could do a new set of everything 😃
in a style of Series 60 icons and all? or is that bad idea
because of P800 ?

LOL!, yeah that would be kind of fun, but I imagine a pain changing it all.
It should be really simple I think. Just change the .css file,
(im working on it already 😃 ) and use the same layout still.
And the graphics are a piece of cake.
I could post some examples here soon?

I'm not sure exactly what your talking about, but some kind of chnage might be fun. phpBB run styles and there is an xmas style being developed I think(see more at phpbb.com). Changing small things is fine cause it wont take me too long, but I wouldn't want to do too major surgery.
By all means post some stuff if you've done it. No guarantees it will get used, but some more Symbian specific graphics might be fun to use elsewhere on the site too. I should probably say that I think it would be better to avoid having a 7650 (or a P800) look, but it doesn't mean it can't be an option.

I thought it might look rather nice in the forum. The other one might work better on the main pages of the site. In any case it wouldn't matter too much.
I had a quick look at the xmas themed phpBB style- it was shockingly bad.. I think a couple of replaced graphics would be more fun, perhaps with a slightly changed style sheet.
Think we'll have to have a virtual xmas party too.. Maybe get some prizes for it.

Yeah, I think that those rounded corners solve it quite nicely.

oops, those folder_new_ post buttons have to be in this size:

it takes that from the template and it would be too much of a job to do
a new tamplate files. So the sizes should be those 46x25. 😞
You can resize those new pictures (if you havent done that already) ofcourse.

I think they are resized themselves! That why they specify width and height in the html!

OK, after going through some of those .tpl files, it seems to be so. 😮ops: 😃
However there are some of those td's that are coded to be 28px in height.
But the image sizes seem to be coded on the fly.
So should not be problems there 😃

My contribution to AAS Xmas isn;t in graphics... but in a bit of negotiation.
Masabi, publishers of Repton for the 7650, are producing a "Christmas Edition" of Repton with a few levels, and it will be badged as "presented by Masabi and All About Symbian" and we're can give it away to every 7650 owner who visits.
7650 Mods and Admins will recieve it on the 13th, and we can go public on the 16th. More when I finish the discussions, but this is the thrust.
