If you to use the forums you agree to the rules, it doesn't matter what you think personally so long as you respect the decision made by the admins while using this forum. The strating post of this thread did not, thus it was edited.

Sharing/Warez is a good thing? No way! It is stealing! That is never a good thing! Would you work for free? I dont think so! I think that when the day comes you are getting payed you are the hapiest person on the planet! Well think how you would feel if they stoped paying you!

Actually, I think that warez IS a good thing. It makes developers keep their applications fairly priced. I know it sounds dubious, but if an app is $10-20, I don't mind paying for it. It is only when they start charging crazy prices that I consider looking "elsewhere"
Have already bought a few progs that I am using because they were reasonably priced. No warez = higher prices in my opinion. You have to remember that not everyone earns $'s or �'s etc.
If you consider that $20 can be a huge amount in other place.
I agree that this forum must stay away from warez, that's what makes it so open to input from the developers themselves.

I have already uninstalled about 5 apps/games that i would have been horrified to have paid for, but have paid for more than that, when I liked the demos.

It doesnt always! Many software companys invest thousands of � or $ to improve security of their software thus increasing the price of an application! Security needs research and research leads to costs, that someone has to pay for! This warez=low prices is a myth! Its just an excuse for crackers to play Marx, or Comandante Che Quevara 😊

Anyways, I still consider it stealing!

warez are the thing why developers need to raise the prices actually
because the fever people buy the apps/games the less money they
make, so the have to raise the price.

As regards the warez, its pure ethics, its purely and purely a matter or our conscience, and our perception of right and wrong. We may find a hundred excuses for our wrong doing, Price control, Affordability etc... But the fact remains, in whatever form, cracks IS STEALING.
( if 20$ is huge in some currencies, 500$ for the phone must have been astronomical..but that didnt stop you from buying the phone?) ...

Let's not be Hypocritical. We had all used or tempted to use Cracks at some point of time. But we are in a different context here, since most of the applications here are being developed by small and upcoming businesses, we should spare them a thought, who, as it is have a not so big market.
If ppl are so worried about the prices, why dont they be generous enough to spend their time and skill to make applications and distribute it free(like some good souls here have already done, but even they, i'm sure won't support warez, as they know what it takes to make a good application)
If u are able to make a crack, atleast dont distribute it in public, and draw away potential customes who'd otherwise have bought it!
