and yes i hate warez i bought quite a lot of ps2, n64, Dreamcast original games and yet i know these games is just US$2 in Indonesia but i bought the original games for US$59 each it;s bcos i like the games

I just wanted to make a short reply on this. I do not care enough to start a long debate here, but I do care for what I consider to be somewhat of a personal attack. The small-minded assumption you make of my age and occupation is not appreciated, especially coming from a mod. I would've thought that you would be more of a pro in this case, but I guess I was wrong about that. And from what I remember reading somewhere on this board, one of your fellow mods are what?-15??
That's an other thing I do not appreciate, being lectured in ethics by a person 10 years younger than myself! And about what I do for a living, that's non of your business. I can tell you that I can afford all the 7650-software I wan't and I have already bought software for hundreds of $.

Yes I am a mod and maybe that was a big mistake! I am just doing what I am told, and because of mods this site still exists and is one of the best symbian communities. However it seems like you dont appreciate that everytime you and others had a problem we were here together will all the members to solve your problems!

If you believe that I have a stick or whatever thats your problem! I on the other hand will continue to do what I like, being part of this community!

This isn't directed at any one person, and also acts as a general point.

Please be nice to each other. I know people wont agree, but there's no need to be personally offensive, or use an insult to get an argument or poitn across. It should stand on its own merits.

The moderators do have a certain amount of power because I've given it to them. They are following my instructions and the rule I decided to implement as the 'owner' of this site. If you have a problem with them please e-mail me personally rather than lambast the mods, they are only trying to keep the community a friendly one, and enforce the rules. I dont expect everyone to agree, but I do expect them to respect each other and the forum rules. If you dont feel you can do this please don't use the forum. I don't feel thats too much to ask is it?

Look Mr. MaleBuffy, this is hardly the issue here. There is a reason why I joined this forum. I've found loads of usefull information and help here, and I've also tried my best to help others whenever I could. And as a member of this forum I would like think that I can speak up when there's something I don't agree with, without being called a "stupid kid" by one of the moderators. Lets get a few things straight. I do not mind at all that you have this rule about warez. What I do react to is the way you enforce this rule, by editing links to other forums that might contain warez. (I thought it was just about not posting warez attachments and direct links). By editing peoples e- mail addresses and links to things like; www.ihavenobrain.com .
By a slapp on wrist every time someone do the fatale mistake of mentioning the words; "WAREZ/FILESHARING".
Even though we might be discusted by other ppls opinions, I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds this just a LITTLE bit extreme.

I hope my point gets through, for what it's worth($0.02).

After some days, once this topic gets old and relegated to the backpages, this issue might resurface all over again with similar debates. Instead, why not delete any postings about warez or other contentious issues at the first instance, as a matter of policy? I suppose that would clean up a lot of space, and also help our tempers a bit?

PS: *Sigh*Yeah..it will be tough living with lowered post counts if those topics are deleted.. 😃

Sean,i dont want to offend you with this replay,i just want to clear out why we should not discuss warez in this forum.
First of all,like i said before,this forum is dedicated to a phone,the nokia 7650,not a microwave not a tv,a phone and we should discuss here issues realted to the device,the posibilities of the device,the ocasional problems etc etc.What we should not discuss is,relegion,politics,rasism.Did i forgot to mention,WAREZ?If you try,i'll bet that you will find a forum that will suite your needs.
