in order to get GPS navigator on your phone you need TASKMAN
under taskman-->misc--->options--->show hidden apps & show all preinstalled file...
then go to the "installed" function, u'll just scroll down, u'll see applications installed under Memory and Phones.. and there you go, GPS NAVIGATOR !!

hi,
thanks for advice on this hidden app - although i found it ok it drops the bt connection after about 10 minutes on a journey - just like other GPS apps
i am using the official Tom Tom Gps receiver
anyone alre experiencing this.?
Im still waiting for my gps from my mate will test when i receve it
ok, found the app, but is ther anyway to acess the app from a menu as taskman is only useable 4 15 days
There's a simple way to get TaskMan useable for more than 15 days: You buy the license (http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/).
I was thinking of making a shortcut to the file on Z:\sys\bin\nav.exe etc..... and saving it on memory card.
But when browsing Z using a few different file explorers you cant see the sys folder!
On firmware version v4 the file is z:\sys\bin\blid.exe
Regds
Actually all you need to do is assign a voice command shortcut to it and you can run it via that.
Is this the Navicore GPS Navigator or some other brand?

I have had my phone about a month and have never even noticed this taskman thing, where is it? Or does it completely dissapear after the 15 days?

I tried this, and to my supprise, whilst adding new voice command, Positioning was actually in the list, not hidden atall.
However, 'Positioning' is just the settings, it is not the 'Navigator' app that i want a shortcut to.
Taskman is a third party application (see the software section on this site) - trial version only lasts for 15 days.
