Hi all. I have a Nokie E61 and just picked up a bluetooth GPS so I'm looking at my options for software to use with this setup. I live in Canada so looking for something that will do navigation well with Canada. I also travel to the USA often so that is a must also..
So far the only thing I can find is Route 66 Mobile 7 North America... http://www.66.com/route66/products.php?cid=CA-en&sec=7&ssec=0&prodid=1743
Anyone tried this or have any other recommendations that would work?
Any feedback is much appreicated...
I, too, am wondering how Route 66 Mobile 7 works in Canada on the E61. Hopefully somebody can give us some answers.

I'm using TomTom 6 with my E70 with great success, just got a holux 236 last week and it's been working great with it, I have the North American maps v1126 or something like that, I'm in New Brunswick and the maps are good for the cities etc, the POI information is very dated however.
The only other downside i can see if the maps are 1.5GB! i can't figure out how to break them up they're suckin up my entire memory card almost.
Also the smart2go thing seemed quite good for canadian maps, but it was quite expensive IMHO, 170 euro's a year or something to get navigation... i could see 30-40$ but 170 is too rich for my blood 😊

oh very nice....the file i'm downloading now is 5 GB and it has europe and north America....and they claim north american file size is 900 MB so it will fit on a 1 GB card...do you have the link from where you downloaded tomtom or you bought it ?
