Here is an example to show how quality is better with photographer.
Look the right corner... in nokia camera standard color is yellow and no so clear .. with photographer real white...

That is a quite difference indeed 😮

(are you sure you did not accidentally photoshop that pic 😃 )

Yessss I have that in my phone still now and I have made this night.
They are original.
Image is made with photographer in high and it is 53 kb. The other with nokia camera in standard quality and is 21!!!
I think that is the light that make the big difference...

Shouldn't you compare the Nokia camera in High quality like you did with Photographer?

And to add a bit of information.....There cannot be a program that makes better quality pictures since the quality is controlled when writing the software with the Camera API. So they highest quality the camera can take is standart for every application. If the application however does tune up the picture a bit AFTER it takes it, its another story...but you can do this with any Image manipulation program.

so what ur saying is that there is really no difference when using photographer and the 7650 camera if both is set in high settings?

Yes, thats what I am saying! However, when you program with the Camera class you set a number for the quality. That can be from 0 to 100 if I remember correctly! High quality for someone could be 80 and for another one 90 or 100. It depends on the programmer.

Bottom line, there is no difference what program u use they picture is captured in the same way with every program. However, processing the picture may improve it but it is done after the capture.

True. But that program tries to remove that fisheye lens effect, smooths
out the picture a bit & corrects color balance, so you can use the picture
straight from the camera without going to photoshop to do those corrections

Of course, if you do those on Photoshop you can get really better results.
But that program does quite good quality job of it.
😃 😃

Yep like I said its after the Image capture. The improved quality is due to the image manipulation and not the capture. So it creates a metter picture! However this is a good effort, but since there are a lot of freebies they would prefer to do a better job with an image manipulation program on the PC desktop! I am talking about me of course 😃 😃
