I have followed the instructions as it says, copied the system folder over followed by the map, as there is already a system folder there, it was overwritten, but when i restart my phone nothing has changed, no icon and all my other stuff still works, almost as if i have done absolutely nothing!
Anyone have any advice for this?

Wich software version You have in your N80? Only works well with last one.

The latest version: v4.0623.0.41 (in Europe anyway).
Upgrade via Nokia's Software Updater - not yet but shortly: keep an eye out here: http://www.nokia.co.uk/nokia/0,1522,,00.html?orig=/softwareupdate (UK specific link)

Route66 Mobile 7.0.989 doesn't work over Symbian 3rd edition devices. Nothing happened! = normal!

I don't have R66 anymore as I sent it back for a refund when it did not work properly with N80 FW 3.0617/3.0618...
... however, the version number for R66 was Mobile7.3.468
I assume you need that version or even higher.
p.s. The GB map included with the above version was corrupt, and would cause the program to crash when calculating routes that included the corrupt parts of the map. R66 apparently has new maps available to registered customers.

Hi, I managed to install Routte 66 7 on the N80 with the latest firmware, there are differents file to install not only the one on the system folder, I can start the program from My Own folder but I don't have a working serial, I am not using a genuine copy of the program at the moment.
I will let you know once I am able to use the software.
I don�t have the N80, but for others said on foruns, the Route66 program only run, if is the last Route and, like "TazUk" said, with last N80 firmware. Someone had said, that was Nokia that solve the problem, when release the last firmware.
