Hi
I purchased a N80😡 from O2 (upgrade fee) and I have a few questions that I hope some people on here may be able to help me out on!
1 The camera - very good BUT on the lowest quality setting (MMS 0.3m) I am still taking images over 100kb which are to big for multimedia messages!
Is there any fix to this as it bugging me as the piccys are around 110kb!
2 Is there any way of locking the phone or to stop it sliding and unlocking itself as I keep ringing people - my G/F keeps getting 5 minute messages of me singing in the car😎
3 How do you bluetooth applications to the phone - it just gives me the option to transfer the file and then I cant find it on my phone even though its on the sd card! My 6680 used to say 1 message recieved and then install but on this one i have to put it in a folder?
Thanks for reading this and any help is gratefully recieved!
Steve
1. Don't know - always use the camera at 3Mp rate.
2. There's a good (free) autolock application (Autolock) you can install that does this.

3. Enable bluetooth on the phone and send over the file - it appears in your inbox (with the same notification sound) and you can then choose what to do with it.
regards,
Slart.
N80 has a phot editing application if you ever need to edit abit. Also when you create a MMS message it asks for resize. Do it.
There is a auto keylock built in on my Orange N80... i'm guessing it would be the same.
I think its under security. It locks the keys and asks for a 5 digit security code to unlock thee phone after a time limit which can be set.
It is mentioned in the manual 😊

Leave your camera on the highest 3M setting
Open Messaging/Options/Settings/Multimedia message/Image size and choose the 'Large' option.
Now when you insert an image from the gallery (or a new one) it will automatically be resized suitable for MMS

The one that is built in will always require a pass code to unlock.
The one you can download, works just like the one we had before on Nokia phone, and you simply press the buttons to unlock.
It's a great utility, I never call people unless I intended to now 😊
Thanks alot for these suggestions!
Got a locking apli so thats sorted!
Figured out the blue tooth prob - just sent it to the phone and not put it in a folder!
Will try rezizeing the piccys later!
Thanks for your help:icon14: :icon14:
