N73 Symbian version

Is the N73 a special version of symbian 60? When i try and install S60 apps I always getting an error message saying file is not supported.

You need S60 3rd edition/version apps. Or OS9.1 as it is called also i think. Older apps wont work.

How can I see what version of symbian my N73 runs on
I also had some cases that downloaded software would not run at once
I had to get another version

Every single N73, including the one you have, has Symbian OS version 9.1 and S60 3rd Edition (S60 3.0).

That is, for the N73, get software that has been written specifically for the N73, or for S60 3rd Edition, or any other S60 3rd Edition based model.
