Custom Operator Logo on an N73

I've done a quick search but couldn't find the information I was looking for.

I've downloaded a blank operator logo for my phone but ideally I would like to put my own text there instead. Is there a simple way of creating a bespoke op logo?

Cheers.

I don't know if there is any file explorer for s60 v3, but if there is, then it's easy. Copy the bmp file from C:\System\Apps\phone\oplogo and edit it on the PC. Send it back where it was and that's it.

I think the file system in OS9.1 is alot different to previous S60 versions and there is no C:\System\Apps\phone\oplogo anymore...

I've had a good look through the file system on the phone, using Y browser, and I haven't been able to locate where the op logo is loacted. Has anyone?

Thanks for the help so far guys.

On Symbian 9 based devices the Platform Security and datacaging features prevents access to application/system private/protected directories from unprivileged apps (apps that do not possess the, so called, AllFiles capability).

Theres a website you can go to to create your own Logo's. Its only for people in the UK (may work abroad). All it costs is the price of a text message. If you have free texts it will be free =)

Go to www.free-ringtones-free-logos.com

At the top click Logo Creator and follow the steps (make sure you have Java installed to load the creator program.

Before you say anything its not a scam or anything.... Ive used this website for years!

Let me know how you get on!!!
