Memory card battery Gizmo
Sheesh, am I the only one being hit on the head by huge hints being dropped by MaleBuffy??
You seem to know more than you let on Sir...ve have vays to make you talk! (not even a good bluff..damn 😉 )
I am getting the feeling that Nokia may already be working on something that would make this redundant?
Tell me I'm wrong, and break my heart..
C'mon MaleBuffy...spill the beans if there are any to spill?
One letter "i"
Personally,i dont care who makes it,as long as someone does and its cheap 😃
😮
Methinks your one letter code is too advanced for my overworked South African brain. I should look at that again on a better day 😃
Ok..so talking theoretically here, If Nokia was to work on an improvement (NOT the ugly 3650) would it be an addon for my beloved 7650, or would it be a completely new hardware purchase?
And again, I wouldn't consider the 3650...it's ugly and it is dressed funny..and i already spent a few months salary on this 7650 which I love so much.
Completely theoretically..of course
BTW..you guys are fast!...I recommend switching off the pc, going out and getting drunk..then check the posts again tomorrow 😊
All I can say is dont go buying a new device until next february......
Ah..my persistence is paying off.
I realise that you can't offer more info, but all I need to know is that would you think that in March I would still be sitting with a 7650, or should I be saving up?
Am I looking at buying a new house or am I just building an addition onto my old house?
😃 - I'm a persistant bugger, ain't I?
Blast the weak / SA Rand exchange rate..have to plan these things soooo far in advance. Any other SA users here?
Thanks for all the info you guys can and do give out..it's much appreciated by all.
I see that you want to buy an addition to your house anyways.....so why dont you sell your house in march.....and buy a new one which already has this additions! And it will not look very different than the one you have now! Just more advanced with central heating and stuff.... 😃
Ok thats it for today....
I dont know what to say on that issue,if i had the money,i would definitely get a new device, the p800 is really tempting, what about the 7650i,it think that it might show up in the near future, but for now,i'm sticking with my 7650.If roumor about the bluetooth mmc batery is true, the 7650 has a lot more chance in staying number one.
I dont consider SPV as an option,i might get the 3650 though (I have a little brother 😃 )
Ah..I see we are on the same wavelength now, I guess I could do with a new house, better start saving. But will miss this one, so it'll be nice to have one similar looking with newer advances in homebuilding 😃
Much appreciated, and once again thanks.
Guess we have confused enough ppl for one night.
Off to go play with latest version of SpaceDoubler... wish all companies gave the same amount of service as Psiloc.
i was ready to get the P800 but if that battery memory thing comes out then its gonna be a must for the 7650
No ones mentioned the 7250 on this forum [not 7210] will it be similar to the 7650 does anyone know [software wise] It seems that it wont tear the seem on your pockets unlike 7650 [I have and love a 7650 before anyone moans]
According to the very first post by Zipper, and from what i understand, its a Battery and Mem Card in one right? And uses Bluetooth..right? If its gonna use Bluetooth, how will anyone be able to use BT for anything else at all since we can have is only one BT connection at a time, and this thing (Memory card) is supposed to be always connected?
So are we effectively forgoing ALL our BT capabilities for the memory? I find this a bit.... 😮 :-? :agrue:

We did not mention the 7250 because its not a Symbian device, this is Symbian dedicated forum.

If somone develops this quasi Bluetoot MMC Battery,i'm sure that they would add some kind of disconnect MMC feature (Without removing the batery 😃 ).
7250 is Symbian is it not? [Thought it was according to Nokia]
7250 is Symbian is it not? [Thought it was according to Nokia]
No,i think its a Series 40 device.
-edit-
Where does it say that its a Symbian device? Can you point me to a location? I might be wrong you know 😃

Oh - thought that was symbian? Series 60, series 40 etc... sound to much alike

Apparently...yes.. they WILL have to.
And also, it should have the ability to get files directly from other devices(?). IF not, the procedure for file transfer would then have to be...
send file to phone from pc>disable pc phone link>enable mmc link> send files to mmc?
and to send file from mmc to pc...
send files to phone from mmc>disable mmc > enable pc link>send files?
This implies the phone should still have some space to accomodate passing files on way to and from pc!! 😮 And imagine trying to load 64 mb worth of files 😮 😮
And it better have streaming software bundles or all hopes of having mp3 will be dashed.
And as far as my knowledge goes, u still cant run applications off a BT link. Can we??
I sincerely hope i got the concept wrong  . I would myself want to see something of this sort soon.
😃
7250 is not a Series 60 nor Symbian device!
