didnt connect here either, (note i am using wlan as my free internet on 3 doesnt work with other msn clients so probs not with this one either!)

Thats a shame its not working its prob got something to do with the new N80 software if anyone gets it working please let me no.

my 3.36 version of Agile messenger worked fine on my N80 on the 3 network. I have since updated my phone by usb update from the nokia site. I then tried Agile messenger, and it told me there was an updated version I must upgrade to. So Agile updated itself from 3.36 to 3.38. From then on I have been unable to connect.

Phone firmware/Agile or Network problem.....? I wonder....

My WLAN runs through AOL Broadband and WLM was working OK last night.

Today, however, I cannot get connected either via WLAN or GPRS...
..but I can get connected no problem today via my PC WLM program.

So whatever the problem is I don't know. I assume the mobile WLM server is a bit up and down at the moment? Hopefully it will be more reliable soon!

It works now so if you keep trying it will!!!! Does anyone else think this to, you only see people online that sign in when you are on your mobile?

i see contacts coming on and off line , i also see ones that are allready online before i log in allthough it does take 10-15 secs at start to find out whos online

I have been using this via Wifi for a while now but as of a week or so ago it is now asking for some kind of registration to MSN plus or something like that (cant remember exactly as at work at the moment). It says something about a monthly fee of 10 RMB (which I believe is a chinese currency?)

Anyone else had this issue?

yep i installed it right when this thread was created, it was always intermittend anyway so Ive not used it in a while. Ive just tried it and got the same error as you.

I've never really had problems connecting as I'm using wifi not GPRS, but this registration thing is stopping me all together now

yeah its a shame... I was using agile... then that charged... now this pretty tidy version of MSN messenger kicks off...

the one that if you click the above link I posted, then click messenger which is the first option it automatically pops a window which you have to accept the download.
it starts a file called something like messenger_S60_3_0_v1_0_0_0.sis

Just as useless on the 3 network as all the rest of them 😞

Failed to locate server try again real soon have a nice day etc etc

Switch to wireless tinternet voila bobs ya uncle fanny's yer aunty works just dandy 😞

I have even had my settings flushed on the HLR to see if it made any difference and not one jot of luck 😞
