Flashing Blue light

Hi Folks

Normally mobiles have a flashing light on top to show they are connected to the network...

but on my n73 there is a blue flashing light that only comes on now and again, and stops flashing when I hit a key to bring the fone out of standby. What does this mean ?

I thought it might be to show bluetooth was on , but I turned it off.

Ah right simple as that ... thanks 😊

It's actually on 'power saver' mode, rather than stand-by. If you don't want it to flash, disable 'power saver' in the tools>setting>phone>display.

I've not noticed a massive power change by disabling it. The light was really bugging me if the phone was on my desk, or next to my bed at night.

The most annoying thing I find about that sleep mode is that you cant tell by looking at the screen if you have any missed calls or text messages (you'd have thought they'd have made the light flash faster if you had any texts etc), you have to press a button to bring it out of sleep mode.

That's why I keep it turned off to be honest
