0552007 Black normal edition From 3 in the UK

Limited to 3.0638.0.0.1 so far, although I have asked if they are going to upgrade sometime.

please if any one could get this i think its worth the try as its a new firmware version of the music edition.

as of the firmware for the N73 Music Edition Arabic Special Edition (Ramadan)
- 0555266
- RM-133, v4.0727.2.2.1

- the firmware is exactly the same as the normal n73 me ( no surprise ) only if you bught the all white n73 you get the extra appz
if you're not arab or muslim the extra appz are not really usefull for you
if you're a muslim its alot of good stuff and appz customized to look better on n73 and work better than the other stand alone ones
well you'll have to download them through nokia catalog ,
final word the appz that comes with this edition can be downloaded from any n73 so whether you have me or normal , dont bother changing to this firmware it has nothing new
ops only one new extra theme called sand , looks nice but ... not enough
so go to download catalog download the new stuff and dont change your code 😉

I've got a Black N73, im in the UK and i got it on network 3. The box it came in was a 3 box, which said x series

Can anyone tell me more about this phone? I would like to update firmware, but latest available is v3.

If you look under your battery the phone should have a small label with the product code printed on it:icon14:

i saw this code on another website and it shows v4.0736.3.2.1 on nokia website.

0539349 -> Australia/New Zealand -> English,

just wondering which edition is it? ME,IE or normal???

if it's not, then does anyone have the code for " N-73 IE (RM-133) for AUSTRALIA ".

Plz help me!!
I've just changed my n73's product code, replacing the original with the first music edition one of this post...The problem is that i'm italian, and after upgrading i realized that the only language supported by the cell now is English...this should not be a problem, but now i can't use T9 because it uses the english dictionary.
What can I do to have back my language on the phone (at least in T9)?????
Please help me because i'm desperate!!!

are you on 3? were you able to successfully change your product code without ur phone becoming a brick? that's my biggest concern

i'm on 3. no, i havent changed my code yet. still waiting for a code which someone has used a verified(standard/IE, i dont like ME)

although my 'genuine' code shows 4.0726 on nokia website, i havent upgraded because that version has known issues with my bluetooth gps. i'm on v3.0638.

i'm not satisfied with it and was wondering if changing my product code would help me get a better firmware of the nokia website.

u can change code to change fw. but u can only go 'up', not 'roll-back'

Hi to all techie guys here! I have questions regarding my regular Nokia N73 phone
and I hope someone will answer me on these:

1. How will I know the version of my phone?
2. Is it a good idea to upgrade it to Music Edition? If so, how will I upgrade it?
3. What are the pros and cons on upgrading?

2. music edition turns the 'multidirectional' button(not the joystick) into a 'dedicated' music button. if u're a music buff, u might like it. i'm not , and i dont like it.
3. read around, u'll find more than u need.
