Hide Text Messages on N80

Does anyone know how you can hide text messages?

I've created a folder which goes beside the templates folder and it would be great if I could hide/password lock it.

😎

You can use, a program called Best Crypto, it allows you to password protect files/folders on your phone, so in theory put the text messages you want into this folder then use the program to protect it.

Best Crypto is a top program to hide files/images.

But I cant locate the folder for text messages or the new folder I have created on the phone memory?

The messaging directory (or folder, if you prefer) is not visible on the phone for unprivileged apps (apps that do not have the, so called, AllFiles capability). In other words, Symbian 9 Platform Security and datacaging keeps an application's private directory hidden from other unprivileged apps.

I thought that would be the case. 😡

Its a pity that the N80 does have the functionality to save text messages to the memory card.

I guess I have two options, use Nokia suite to save text messages to the PC or look for third party software.
