Success -

Upgraded to N80internet edition firmware... added my Gradwell VOIP settings same as i enter them on X-Lite (PC Voip Client) at home, and it connects to server fine.

Can make incoming and outgoing calls perfectly!

www.gradwell.net > Cheap as hell, and you can even pick your own number!

My voip number is 02380 0000** < Easy as hell to remember... but every time someone asks me "Are you sure thats your mobile number?" they seem abit confused!

(Gradwell VOIP can be set to redirect incoming calls to a mobile number if there is no voip client connected. Eg, im outside of Wifi range, someone calls, and it still comes through as a normal call!! )

I've just done it again, and this time it worked!!! Two days ago i tried, just after i updated my phone to Internet Edition, and it said not available yet. I'll give it a try now. Thanx guys.

Can you guys tell me if i can use my 3G connection to connect to truphone, or do i have to use a Wireless Connection? I can't seem to manage to do it

Hey Gaz..

Glad you have success...

this Gradwell number, is it a local call number, because the number we get with truphone is a mobile number and obviously more expensive to call..

I think with gladwell, you have to pay for a local geographic number. Sipgate give you a free geographic number... i.e. ive got a bedford 01234 xxxxxx number.

yea, it looks like gradwell you may have to pay a monthly charge also...but I may be corrected on this ..

What a fantastic forum....My phone is now upgraded to N80ie

Able to use Gizmo to make calls, very cool 😊 .....I have a question though :con?

Is there a way to setup N80ie to use other VoIP?

My business & home is already using VoIP, i.e Vonage, Packet8, etc...can I setup N80ie to use the same account as my home & business VoIP?

Cheers.
