Flash Lite 2.1 for S60 3rd - Can NOT view Youtube

Hello all:
I installed flash lite 2.1 for S60 3rd on my n80, but i can not view video on Youtube.
Is there a special setting?
Thanks!

i was wondering the same, i found this on flash forums, "FL2.1 is based on Flash Player 7 and the Flash video content on YouTube is based on Flash 8, Flash Lite 2.1 can't open up those SWF or FLV files to render them."

FL 2.1 is a STANDALONE app for symbian 9.1 3rd edition, it is not a plug in for web browser, only the symbian 9.2 3rd ed FP1 will have this as a Standalone app and as a web browser plug-in

cheers

Dx

I dont think flash lite will show youtube stuff... but I could be wrong...

how about using tinytube.net instead??

Yes, you can use a program called Youripper to save them to your computer, then convert them to .avi using SmartMovie converter, then watch them on your phone with SmartMovie player.

You can stream any movies, including youtube, but you have to use the new orb application thats been specially designed for this, and you obviously can ony stream when you have your computer on because it uses your computers internet connection..

when u say u need a computer on, what about a router? or are u saying it physically needs a computer on too?

I think it needs your computere because the orb client runs on your computer, then when you are out and about in a hotspot then you can stream content from your computer, or instruct orb to go to a web page, then it converts the vid file so that you can see it on your N80 😊..
