Free GPRS on all UK networks?

I just read a post sumwhere and gave me this thought: Is it possible to use MMS settings to access GPRS free? as MMSs are free at the moment [UK]

On o2(uk) the gprs and mms is free till 31st january.
Multimedia messages are sent through gprs so if every network is givin free mms the gprs must be free. 😃

Depends on who you're with.

O2 & Vodafone are doing free GPRS. (Vodafone GPRS/MMS depends on your SP though.)

Orange offer free MMS but not free GPRS. T-Mobile do nothing for free.

Yeah....I problems with MMS cause I changed the settings to send MMS thro the WAP connection. Then of course I realised that you can't (doh!) and found the Orange GPRS MMS setting...noobs eh? who'd have em?

This is not true. MMS is billed separetely from GPRS data. I'm on Ben (Netherlands) who gives me free MMS until the end of January, but I still have to pay for GPRS 😞 .
