After a number of disappointing game titles recently, I'm pleased to announce reviews of a couple of real crackers. Ewan is delighted by STPuzzles for UIQ 3 smartphones (like his new consort, the W950i), while krisse is utterly blown away by K-Rally for S60 3rd Edition (also available for all other Symbian platforms). Enjoy.

I'd like to knowhow it is possible to pay the kally n the ngage. I bough it and try to play it, but it was too big to play in the ngage. The internal memory is reduced.... I had to ask for a refund..

Hello,
Initnially game was not available for nGage but now an update is available. It's possible to install the game because now the installation is divided into 4 sis files 700kb each.
regards,
Marek.
Already loved Sky Force, saw the videos on the website, read the review, bought the game - LOVED IT. Well done Infinite Dreams.
It's interesting that Infinite Dreams took their time on K-Rally, they didn't rush it out onto the market in the way that many smartphone developers do. I know fans want games as soon as possible, but it really is better when the devs take their time getting things right. ID also haven't charged a fortune for K-Rally either, $14.95/£9.95/€14.95 is a very reasonable price for something of this high quality.
and there is plenty more to come in terms of updates, extra content, online competitions to give KRally even more value for that money. I do have the feeling that it deserves to be picked up by powerful people from the gaming console industry to make use of wifi racing on DS or PSP or Live online racing on Xbox360 (where you can play Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter, games not made for HiDef screens but perfect for online gaming).
the Puzzle collection is great too! exactly the kind of games that I would love to see on s60 3rd ed (besides Vexed 2.2 and Bejewelled 2 with the puzzle levels)...
I'd like to see Nokia pick this up for their Next Gen platform, it's already on S60 3rd Edition so it would just be a question of adding some DRM gubbins (and maybe support for the 3D chips too).
What's more Infinite Dreams is already developing games for the platform, so they're already completely familiar with it.
I´m awaiting the UIQ 3 version...skyforce is the best game for UIQ 3 so far, and krally looks like is gonna be even better 😊
the multiplayer via wifi (and bluetooth PAN acess to internet available on uiq 3 phones) is another killer idea for the new symbian phones with wifi, specially if people with uiq 3 phones can play vs s60 v3 users
