My girlfriend queried her phone bill,

VODAFONE actually said to her that they charge for the DATA transfered VIA DATA CABLE to PC, ie a video she has filmed using her N73 and copied it across to her PC........!!!!!!!

She was then passed to an "Expert" who said the same!!!!!!! 😊 :con?

How can a company worth millions have staff who don't have a clue!!!!

I thought it was a well known fact that Vodafone charges ourageous fees for data-cable, infrared and bluetooth traffic. On the other hand, they just announced that they would dramatically lower the cost for training your voice dial application 😉

Had something ridiculously similar to that, actually...
When I forgot my PIN and blocked my phone, I rang up for the PUK, and they asked had I ever put another network's sim card in the phone. I said yeah probably once, they then told me that my phone would be barred for good because of it, and that giving me the code would do no good.
This is great, though; his sudden realisation:
"OH! You mean the one to unblock the SIM CARD! I thought you meant unblock the phone from the blacklist!" - or words to that effect...
🙄 Either way he was wrong, which made their network even more crappy.
