When the phone is switched ON Nokia hand shacking clip comes on and then T-Mobile network play it's thing.
Any idea how I can disable or remove completely from the phone the T-Mobile boot-up theme and Nokia's hand shacking theme?

Sorry I wasnt asking for these settings.
Let me explain.....
When I switch on the moble phone the phone boot-up and then it plays a clip....
On the screen 2 hands shaking takes place with Nokia's music tone. I believe this is just a Nokia's
standard welcome screen and then T-Mobile plays a clip another welcome screen with T-Mobile logo with music.
What I wanted to do, if possible is to disable that or remove that completely from
the boot up process its solely because it slows down the boot-up of the phone.
Anyone who got N73 will see this when they switch the phone ON every time.
If you with T-Mobile network you will see T-Mobile clip a short logo clip with music.
Anyone know how to disable or remove it from the phone to speed boot-up?
I believe the branded start up is fixed in firmware. My Orange one disappeared when I upgraded to the Music Edition.
thats what i hate about branded firmware- tmobile sh*t everywhere!! only solution(that i know of anyway) is to do as lovesign says-update firmware to generic nokia and that takes care of it. still get the nokia shakey hands but its better than tmbile being shoved down your throat.
ps- to get generic firmware you need to use NSS to change product code. i suggest EURO1 0537289 which will give u N73 music edition
To get generic firmware, the easiest way is to buy an unbranded/unlocked, retail device, instead of a branded/locked, operator device.

I've just upgraded the firmware from 3.0638.0.01 to 3.0705.1.0.31
But what've noticed that the phone's internal memory now reduced to 31MB from 40.1MB.
No change on the RAM management. Its still bellow 20MB when nothing is
runing. The taskman shows no application runing.
So whats taken up the extra space? and how to free it? also how do one free
the RAM to its actual size to 44MB cos I see no application is runing at the
moment and still a big chunk of RAM is huged up!
