You said in my-symbian.com that AAS was propably a victim of DoS attack. Can you confirm this (if yes, who were behind it?) or was it "just" a hard disk failure?

Its still not clear exactly what happened. It seems it ma have been both.

BTW may not be a hard disk failure but rather a corruption. Could be an effect of server screwup. Will try and find out more.

Nice one Rafe! I know I'm not the only one who appreciates the work you've done here and again we see that we only really appreciate something when it is taken from us.

I ended up having to talk to my family this Christmas because of the site being down..... :agrue:

As for DoS, we need to find someone to blame. I blame Microsoft! Bill probably got his drones to bring the site down in order to satisfy his lust for complete dominance. Let's face it, this is the best, friendliest and most informative mobile technology forum there is!

Well, I was visiting relatives in Scotland, so had 3 weeks to focus on not having forum access - not that it wasn;t pretty ( I had the Wap Access all but warmed up) but I think I've suffered less than others.

Big up the AAS crew, and good going Rafe getting it back. I'm getting a 403 trying to get to the reviews section and that generates a 404 to get the 403 error page.

And the FAQ section is out too.
