I understand that it's possible to render for example dvdr movies to the mp4 or g3p and then watch them on the p990.
Anybody with good experiencies on how to do this?
What gives the best result, 3gp or mp4?
Watching movie?

Ok, thanks. I've found some freeware wich should do the job according to other forums, like the M3 program. I've tried that and it seems to work, except that it doesn't include the subtitles I choose before rendering the mp4 file.
Anyone else with experience from working with M3?
I managed to put subtitles on some movies i converted...

OK, wich program for recoding did you use? Did you do anything special?
I get better quality using 3gp.
I convert my movies to 320x240 with original aspect ratio and VBR of 512, as for audio 48000 sample rate with stereo channels.
i get abt 500MB for a 1.5hr movie
Takes abt 6hrs to convert a 1.5 hr movie.
I'm using ImToo DVD to 3gp converter. but u can use it to convert to mp4 as well.
