Hi,
Wanted to know what contract deals people have got?
Im in my last month and have been reminded to upgrade. I have been on a 18 month contract and have been going over my monthly bill quite often. Last month i went away and went over a lot so hopefully looking for a good deal.
But ive seen people not getting very good deals.
Thanks
You might want to not the country you are talking about in your post (including, or at least, in the subject). Many operators operate in different countries, and with different deals/contracts in each, and people all over the planet access this site.
In this case, I assume you're from the UK (as it is probably the only country with all those operators you mention).
I told Vodafone i was leaving them to go else where. They gave me a N95 for just 49.95 GBP and another 18mth contract😊 😊 😊
i got my n95 frm t mobile, free handset, 45 a month, 18 month contract but after 6 month u can drop the price plan to 15 per month, and on the 45 per month they give u 265 each month to spend on calls, txts or mms messages, also for extra 7.50 a month u get unlimited data, well they say unlimited but they have a fair usage policy but its still worth it wen u luk at the likes of vodafone who charge almost the same for each mb u download

T-Mobile (UK) are currently offering a 30 per month FLEXT180 contract (usually 35) for Internet Orders, with 180 voice/text/mms allowance per month. The Handset cost is 99. If the handset had been 49.99 or less I would have bought that, as I have been a happy FLEXT customer and have always found T-Mobile reception to be excellent in my area.
However, I visited my local Phones4U shop (Galashiels) and got the following deal on Orange...
N95 - Free
60 chequeback after 14 days (manager discount)
Tariff - Canary 40 - (40 per month) with 950 xnet anytime mins & 300 texts.
At month 9, I can reduce my Tariff to any other Orange package. e.g. 20+
paid 115 for phone on a 12 month contract...35 a month...500 mins 250 text...plus stop the clock
I upgraded with 02 20/month phone was 9.99 and 12 month contract, i reckon ive got the best deal here.:icon14:
On Voda Free N95 35 a month 750 anytime mins 250 text this package can be moved around eg: 500 mins 1000 text - 500 mins, 250 text + stop the clock. THis is the best deal out there at the minute.

Thats a really good deal. Just wondering how much u used to pay a month on ure previous contract as im on my last month with O2 and can get an upgrade.
Also wanted to know how many minutes and text u get with ure current contract with the n95.
Thanks

Hi,
Is that like the t-mobile flex then where u get an allowance and u can spend it how u like and is it a 12 month or 18 month contract.
Thanks

Hi Steve,
Where did you find this deal? Is it available directly from voda?
Regards
I also got one for 50 with an 18 mo contract - upgrade from Vodaphone
My previous contract was 1000 mins off peak £20month, now its £20month 50 mins 25 texts, the minuteas are rubbish but i wanted the phone as cheap as possible, btw their two sections of 02, the real 02 and CPWH 02, only the 02 CPWH do god deals the other do al right deals.
After looking around I picked up the N95 in store for 39.99 with Flext 35 and Walk 'n' Web 18 plus (allows tethering to my laptop) at 42.50 per month (that's with the 5 off that is shown on the T-Mobile internet site).
Considering on Orange it would cost 300 per month for the same 3GB maximum monthly limit I am already chuffed :icon14:, but I also get 3G connection speeds and a 5 megapixel phone - awesome!! 😊
looks like im going go with t mobile flex plan 35+web n walk hope im doing right thing by changing networks from orange
i just switched to t-mobile from vodafone - previously i had switched from orange to voda - when i did my bills almost doubled - so was glad to get away from vodacon. when i went to go back to orange their plans seem a bit rubbish now - esp as data is very very expensive. so i went for tmoby flex - which seem the best contract out there - with the possible exception of some of the dodgy '3' deals.
im on 42quid a month contract(if i remmeber right) and theres 5 off - unlimited (well 2gig) data and teh phone was £39
mehnel who did you speak to at cpw o2 to get that deal . i had to pay 129 for the hadnset and extend for another 18mths on the tarriff your on plus im a select customer to
i spoke to the retentions dept. the phone cost £210 but was given £200 cashback so effectively only a tenna for the handset
Just voted for O2 ...
Picked up my N95 yesterday from their local store.
Paid 19.99 for the phone (it was 89.99 but the store manager price matched CPW - not sure what they were offerting locally).
It's a 12 month contract, no compulsory insurance either, on the O2 400/100 plan (400 minutes & 100 texts) - and with 6 months long weekends as well.
9 months before I can downgrade to a lower tariff ....
One thing I was surprised about - when I got home and opened up the box there was a small typewritten note saying that use of the Nokia Maps service would incur data charges, so please accept the supplied 1gig microSD card with their compliments (and guess what - all the maps were pre-installed - leaving me with approx 800mb of spare storage space) ...
Not a bad deal me thinks ....
Cheers
Mark
nokia n95 on vodafone, 12 mnths contract, £30.00 pm but half price line rental for the first 9 months, and i can drop to a lower tariff if i wish, and the n95 was free
I ordered one on O2 earlier this morning (Online 25 - £25/month, 200mins/500txts, £199.99 handset - they wouldnt budge on price..)....just noticed Vodafone is £145 cheaper for the same tariff!
Now looking at Vodfone Anytime 200 (6 months £13.50, 12 months £27/month, 200mins,500txts, £100 handset) - £505 for 18months. O2 is £650 for the same thing! Just got off the phone to O2 cancelling my order!!😊
ss3000 - how did you get the N95 handset free on that tariff? The Vodafone website shows it as £160...?
Just got one (ordered) from vodaphone. 70 on a 25/month contract (400mins, some texts) for 18 months. Shifting from at 12month contract to do it. Oh, I think I had to pay a fiver for delivery too, or something 😊.
Which is significantly better than their upgrade department's 'first offer' of 250 upgrade price. Just 'think about leaving' and ask for your PAC code, and say why. Ideally find a comparison price. They don't always beat the next best offer, but I've found 'em pretty good at wanting to keep me as a customer 😊.

well i was an existing vodafone customer, i didnt get a good price so i was going to go on the 3 network (15 per month for 500 mins), so i ordered my pac code.
i was called by someone from the redeption team and they offered me a really good deal, that i doubt could be beaten, so i accepted.
i'm really happy tht i kept to voda
the phone arrived today it was gr8
Got N95 for £20 as upgrade on O2.
18 month contract @ £40 per month 1100 minutes, 500 txts with the long weekends promo which is basicly free weekend and monday calls (up to 2000 under fair usage though)
Ive read that o2 will be doing new contract deals inc. data bundles at the end of the month can any1 confirm?

That's very similar to the deal I was looking at but minus the 'plus' in favour of standard WnW, total monthly cost of £37.50. Strangely the same store told me two different prices for the handset, over the phone I was told £49.99, in store £69.99
I'm planning on leaving o2 online for this as data usage costs far too much now with o2.
I told voda was going to leave and got phone free on 18 month contract and dropped price plan to 25 per month with 200 free mins and 200 texts. So not bad 😊
Flext 35 with £5 discount
with Web n Walk
for £37.50
Take insurance then cancel after 2 months and the phone is free.
Web 'n Walk on T-mobile cannot be touched by any other provider give unlimited (in fact 1GB fair usage limit).
CPW were chucking in Maps for 3years - cost £49.99 so T-M still better deal
Anyone found any better.
Havin sad that does anyone know the difference between a branded t-mobile hanset and an unbranded car hone warehouse one ??
Sesame.

^^
Thats the deal I am on at the moment
I am thinking of moving from this O2 deal to T-Mobile web n walk - (I recevied my N95 yesterday and have 7 day no quibble return on it)
Using the N95 I quickly realised it would be a great advantage to have internet access at a decent price - O2 is a joke at the moment. But with the Web n Walk plan @ 35 Flext there doesnt seem to be many calls/txts included.
I make it 90 minutes a month and no txts or 180 txts no minutes (with the different combinations in between) which is rather paltry compared to what I have negotiated with O2. Also there is a 50 price hike on the handset - I will of course try and negotiate by taking insurance though.
Can someone confirm the txt/mins usage of the Flext 35 plan?
Many Thanks

I recevied my N95 from O2 and can return and cancel within 7 days no quibble.
Using the phone I realise the internet would be a very nice asset so may swap to the T-Mobile flex 35 web n walk.
The Flext 35 gives you £180 of txt / voice per month @ 20p per minute or 10p per txt or any combination. Am I being thick or does this work out to be a rather paltry 90 minutes OR 180 txts per month? This is very poor when compared to my O2 deal.
Also the handset is £70 whereas O2 did it for £20 (I will try and get it reduced by taking insurance)
Anyone have any thoughts on this I only have 3 more days to decide 😊
