There's a pretty good discussion on available Contracts at
http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/58319/
I guess it depends on how many voice minutes and texts you use per month as to whether or not the contract deals available would suit you.
You are going to have to pay £20-£40 per month (18 month contract) and possibly pay up to £99 for the N95 handset on contract.
Does this info help you to decide?
hi is there anything missing off the branded phones that are on the simfree that would be of any inportance also i heard that orange have there own media player, but i can install a different one though cant i
i've got one on t mobile - the web and walk being essential for me - as otherwise id run up huge data costs. it was £39 so thats a saving of over 400 quid. or 25 quid a month over the 18 months. so its just spreading the cost. effectively the contract is costing just over a tenner a month with it - so it seems to make sence to me.
as far as i can tell the tmoby one is more or less untouched. the internet browser has a web and walk icon - otherwise its t-moby free. unlike the vodafone n70 i had before that was so vodafone'd i flogged it and bought one sim free instead!
so you reckon t.mobile tariff looks good must admit it does at the moment im on orange pay as you go but i want this phone but dont want to pay out loads of money upfront.so contract does look good but which one do i choose out of the networks orange dont do any network minutes only anytime where as t mobile flex does anytime any network minutes , not looked properly at the rest feel bad if i change from orange as i have been with them so long but dont want to jump to another network and find it was the wrong one as id be stuck for 18months oh what to do.....come on what do you reckon
why the loyalty to orange - the companys been sold twice since youve been with them!
i checked out orange and the deals looked rubbish. expensive data charges and min of £90 for the handset - plus they try to flog you broadband.
I was in this position before, ive gone on contract with 02,
20 for the phone (which is unlocked)
40 month (total = 480)
so 500 altogether for the phone but on top of that you get 500mins and 200 texts.
So if you want it NOW, it looks like a good option, though if you can wait then do so 😉
No offence, but while its quite a nice phone, only an fool would spend £500ish on it.
CPW deffo has the best deal ATM.
T-Mobile Flext 35 + Web n Walk = 42.50 per month for 18 months
And the phone is only 59.99
im sure i have teh same deal as CPW - but you get £5 off the rental and the phone for £39 if you get it direct from t-mobile website.
also i dispise usign carphone warehouse, with vida and o2 you end up with them as a middle man when ever anything goes wrong - its a world of pain.
looked at the t mobile site flex 35+web and walk 37.50 a month 18months, the phone will cost me 75 including 5 delivery where did you see the cheap phone
you need the web n walk plus
Flext 35 + web 'n' walk Plus (18) £180
Unlimited web surfing and e-mails
£47.50 £42.50 £39.99
basicaly its 42.50 a month - you need the plus to use it as a modem or IM etc.
that said - if youd dont want to use it as a modem/Im you may be better off spending 30quid more on the phone up front as the plan will be 75 cheaper over 18 months
got as far as phoning them up and asking questions they said if i have i flext 35 + web and walk for 18months 37.50 i can have the phone for 49.99 when i have decided gonna ring again and see if i can get them down another tenner
