it would be a good prank...in school we have a Tv in evrey classroom and it would be funny if the teacher was talking and the tv turns on to MTV haha...and the remote was still near the tv...and No one would know what happen..lol...JEEZ i want that thing😡

I was always under the impression that the IR on phones was relatively short distance, ie too far to stealth tv channel change. I have not used the IR port though, so could be wrong.
It would definatley be a handy app though as my tv at home doesn't have a remote, what a pain!
