for the Dial up setting do i have to put the Dialup number given to me my ISP or do i also have to right the city or country code too with the dialup number? :P
please could someone give me a reply quick thanks

The country code, I don't believe...
But for city code, try the following: Dial your ISPs number from your phone, as like it was a voice call. Try with both types: with or without area code, and you will see which is the right...

I tried calling my dial up like a voice call and the call connects for 2 sec or so and with the city code it dosent connect the call so does that mean that city code isnt important?

Do you here a modem squiking? If you do,you are dialing the right number.

yes i head a squiking sound with i call with the city code
but with webviewer i try to connect i get a message saying connection error
do u think its got something to do with my ISP??
😞 😞

already established?? no when i turn on webviewer it askes for a access point and when i select one it says contacting server and then i get a message saying :connection error
btw i get connected to the server with webviewer or do i need to connect someother way??

how do i get connected before using webviewer??
(sorry if I ask very stupid questions i have no idea about this) ^_^

Maybe you can try this.
Setup an e-mail account using you ISP's dialup.
You can connect by pressing the options connect button when you are positioned over the mailbox.
The you can switch to webviewer with the menu key and give it a try.
Let me know how this works.
Anyone else?
Are you sure that your ISP setings are correct?

yes its correct now im trying with the email
getting the same connection error message and when it tries a message general system error 😮 ?? 😞

I cant think of anything else, except this.
Check with your operator if you are able to make data calls and if you are check if you are subscribed for the service.

I have exactly the same problems, I want to use dialup for sending email to burn some minutes each month, so I can drop the orangeinternet GPRS package. All my settings are correct, I've tried using High Speed Data connection and GSM Data connection, 9.6 and 14.4 (I have HSCSD enabled) and it won't connect, I just get connection error, followed by General System Error. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them. Thanks.

Have u tried just changing the modem on your existing dial up thing to the 7650? That usually works

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll let you know if I ever get it sorted. My sim is still data enabled, checked with Orange. ISP still hasn't answered to my email to them tho.
