see that's exactly what i'm afraid of!!! 8) and dont worry, none taken. 😃

is it really? thanks for the reply, and not that I'm doubting (or maybe i am) are you sure? a teleco in china? which one? hehe, sorry for the Q's. just making sure. 😃

If translated, it is something like
Hexin Telecom

I don't know if it is from China, but personally, I think it has the possibility not from mainland (after all, I am not from East Asia), because of two reasons
1. It uses traditional Chinese (of course, as I know, some China products also use traditional strokes)
2. The online translator shows that the phrase "Telecom" in Chinese pinyin is "DianXIN", but this operator logo uses "DianXUN", which in general, has the same meaning. But as I know (correct me if I am wrong), I always see "Message" interpreted as "XINxi" in China, but "XUNxi" in Taiwan... (Notice the difference "XUN" and "XIN" in both cases)

I hope I get them correct... P

yeah!!! that should rock!!!! yoohoo... khanming... you there somewhere??? :-? did you read the post of nosferatu??? 8)

thanks for the tip nos! 😃

Yes... I am here, but I don't know how to translate "seanmiguel" to Chinese, since it has no meaning, I will have to translate according to the pronounciation and this involves some standardization (or translation guidelines) that I don't know... But for "Ghostdog", I can translate the phrase into two Chinese characters (each with the meaning of "ghost" and "dog" respectively), but that isn't nice to read or pronounce (in Chinese)... (

Anyway, if you like, seanmiguel, may be you can split your name into single vocal words and then I can translate each of the word directly into Chinese character for you... )

Not nice? Why? is it hard? It doesn't sound nice? ghostdog has some bad meaning in chinese?
Can you post an image with the GhostDog translation, preety please so i can make my oplogo 😃 😃
Thanks!!!

Why?!?! 😞
I'm not going to call anyone except me whit that name 😃
Ok then,i will try some other sources.

:P I dont think that everybody would laugh... not me!!! coz sometimes i think it's cool to put in sumthin like "i'm an asshole" or "i'm a bitch" even though it concerns myself...

😉 Am i rite GhostDog???

LOL! that's surprising! "ghostdog" meaning something else in chinese! 😃

khanming, can you translate this in chinese:

"love beer", or "give me some beer", or something lame like "my phone", or "don't touch my phone". 8) i was hoping for more characters. just like the orig logo i attached in this thread, it had about 4 characters. 😊 if you can cook that up for me it'll be greatly appreciated. please post em here so we can share with other interested members! 😃

thanks in advance! 😃 😃 😃

Give me some time, but it will only be plain text (i.e. no fancy color or effect), is that ok? Because this system only support reading of Chinese, not editing etc. So what I going to do is type the English word and let the online translator to create the Chinese word (IE installed with language pack), then take the screen shot (or enlarge it beforehand)... Doesn't it sounds bad? oops

Ok, at least I will come up with something... )

It isn't as good as you think, but here it is...
Please cut the image out (each separated with comma, corresponding to the English word at the bottom of the big image), and change the font color to whatever you wish (since it is monochrome GIF, you can easily change the black color of the whole image to your color by changing the palette), and finally rescale it to the size you want, and - save as new image!
Anyway, it is not much of great story... Please seek from others more capable for better Chinese operator logo design. -?

"Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai" is one of my favorite movies. Its directed by Jim Jarmusch (Excelent director) and the leading role is played by Forest Whitaker.
You should see that movie sometime,i dont think you will be offended by it,maybe learn something, but offended,i dont think so.
