i heard that its only regular n73 not ME

What is the Vanilla Edition?? I have the ME

Vanilla means regular N73...not the ME nor the IE (Internet Edition)....just the regular N73.

"Regular" firmwares always end in .1 or .2 (basically a single digit number)

ME firmwares always end in .31 or 32 etc.

IE firmwares always end in .51 or 52 etc.

Why do Nokia make the changelog for these firmware updates so elusive ?

I'd like to make an informed decision as to whether I want to go through the hassle/risk of upgrading for the new features/fixes

Has any one found the chnage log??

i checked the software update last night still no update

I updated my N73 yesterday, debranding the Orange Black N73 (Which, despite what Orange claim on the box, was NOT the music edition) and the latest firmware listed here was on the updater.

Still takes ages for the camera to open though

Iv got the original Nokia N73 (Not M.E OR Internet Edition). The firmware i have on my nokia is V 3.0638.0.0.1 i downloaded it the other day with the Nokia software updater, i cant find the new build that people are going on about. It says the version i have is the newest. I dunno if we can get the new firmware update in the UK yet... Ill keep an eye out for it 😊
