Ive managed to get it work PC to Phone, but vica versa it doesnt work. I cant send files from phone to my PC. Ive Epox dongle and its drivers installed. Do I need to install any other drivers and what they are and can somebody explain why I need to install more drivers although the connection works from PC to phone?
Bluetooth connection with XP
This has been discussed to death:

If that doesn't help, try searching the forum.
Good luck

Ok, I got it. But where I can download for example Widcomms software version 1.2.2.15?
1.2.2.16 is pointed to in this thread:

Download Billionton's latest bluetooth drivers at
http://www.billionton.com.tw/extra/download.htm
Version 1.3.2.7.
No more problems!
Direct connection to your phone. No need to use the serial port first!
I use both Billionton and MSI bluetooth USB adapters.
The software and drivers work for both brands!

Blimey spoon. Calm down. Posting it to one or two current topics would have been enough. Don't spam the board!
sorry.
i was too tired of people repeating the same questions also. so that would end their problems.
some people do not bother to use the search function... so this would minimize people from overlooking my post from another thread. i am hoping they won't start a new thread again...
thanks.
Nothing will stop people from asking the same quesitons over and over again, still, I guess it was worth a try!
A.
I suppose the driver works with other BT dongles, too, then?
Which one should we download?
"USBBT02-B / CFBT02-B" or "USBBT02-N / CFBT02-N"
if you are using the Billionton USB BT key, then check the sticker label on the BT key. It ends with either a "B" or "N"
thanks. I also used the "B" version for my MSI dongle and it works perfectly too.
Ok, If someone has a Billionton USB BT it is quite obvious 😊
I was talking about the rest.. I have already scheduled the second to download at work during the night (they are too big for my 56k dial up at home), so we'll see if the second does the job, too.
thanks spoon for the tip for the 1.3.7.2 this is the only BT softare so far that has allowed me to connect PC and Phone, but i have a couple of questions:
1st. after installing the software and drivers i get a red cross through the Bluetooth Network icon in my task bar and it says there is a cable unplugged ?(not the blue Bluetooth icon) and i can send photos and files fine? (didn't get this with the 1.2.2.15's but couldn't send then!)
2nd. have searched the forum and tried everything thats been posted about accessing the i/net from my b/band conn through my 7650 and no luck (wonder if these 2 probs are connected?)
any help most welcome !

...[/quote]I believe the bluetooth network icon has to do with connecting PCs in a network using bluetooth, like you do with an ethernet network adaptor and cables. Since there is no network connection over bluetooth, this icon is marked with a red cross, like the usual network icon when you unplug its cable. If I am right, then it has nothing to do with the other problem you mentioned.
thx, thought this might be the case.
i'll just keep trying 😃 hopefully i'll get there in the end!
