I've just got myself one of these phones, but got a small request if anyone knows how.
I play a LOT of golf, and would really like to be able to utilise the GPS functionality to track distance of some of my shots particularly my driving.
Has anyone done this before or know of any software I can do it with?

I was thinking that GPS-caddy might be a great thing to do for various golf courses around the world. I'm not convinced the GPS is accurate enough for the purpose but shouldn't be too hard - the satellite map from MGMaps combined with your GPS location .. put in a destination for the hole .. presto!
you could do a basic .. start a trip (destination = hole) .. play your shot .. walk walk walk .. should tell you roughly the distance.
try it out .. I have no time to play golf these days .. bugger!😊
There's also a program called "WeGolf". It can use your internal GPS.
The have a two week trial.
