Hey guys, just got my hands on my new N73 ME, and wanted to install Nokia's Barcode Reader on the device. When I download it and try to install it tells me that this component is already installed on the device.
I cannot find an icon anywhere on the phone. I also have not seen an option for it when selecting options while viewing pictures.
Am I missing something, is there a fix or alternate way to install this app?
I read somewhere that the app was faulty on some handsets so had been pulled until it was fixed.
Search for it on Catalogs.
Tried using Catalogs, but it is nowhere to be found.
Maybe the phone has the feature built in, but you have to install a configuration type file in order to access it. I found a different program to use in the meantime, however, it is not as good as Nokia's own barcode reader

I had the same problem on my N73 from o2. It wouldnt install, with a similar message about the component already being installed.
I used the NSS tool to change it to N73 generic and updated the firmware, and it installed fine.
