Thanks for reply ....
E90 Have Fax or Not ...?? vibracall ??
NO FAX ! but Vibrate ...... NO PROGRAM TO HAVE FAX FOR SYMBIAN 3 EDITION ??
I think I'm right in saying that Fax is no longer possible because the faxmodem is no longer present. You would have to use the email to fax gateways that are available on the web.
I wonder how many more times this fax question will be asked... considering it's already been answered about 6 million times.
But that does not solve the problem of not being reachable by fax anymore as far as I ca see. I have a phone, a data and a fax number on my 9500. Clients and relations send faxes to me, which is an almost zero-time action in most offices. So for me the capacity to be reachable on a fax-number is essential. I think the fact that this question was answered six million times allready undedrlines the mistake Nokia made here. Unforgiveable and showing a serious lack of empathy with their Communicator clients. And it is nit the only flaw...
Correct me if i am wrong, but i suspect that its not so much nokia that doesn't support fax but instead, most telco providers can't support 3G and fax at the same time.
I learnt this when i had my plan upgraded to 3G on Singapore's Starhub and even though i used the 9500 then and after rounds of calls with the telco's tech support, my fax on the 9500 still wouldn't work with 3G services enabled.
When i removed 3G services tied to my SIM card, the fax worked again. (i still carried on using the 3G enabled SIM card with no 3G service)
I am now in HK and similarly, HK's CSL network does not support fax on its 3G network but do on their 2.5G network.
Hope this helps....

True, there is a fax support and it is one of the option somewhere. S60 does support fax, but several new services e.g. Multi SIM (one number/line with multiple SIM cards) or possibly 3G break all this.
Fax also not really popular service, only a niche segment of market uses it. I think it is no longer attractive for operators to sustain the service
Pretty sure there is no fax option, but I am pretty sure some nice people will create a fax using gateway from the web. 😊
