Sleek, smart, but with glitches - the Nokia N76

The folks at MobileBurn have snagged themselves a production Nokia N76 and review it in reasonable depth. The good: it's sleek and with the usual S60 degree of 'smart'ness. The bad: only a 700mAh battery, a hiss on music playback and a 3.5mm audio jack location that fouls the flip lid... And yes, we're enquiring after a review N76 of our own....

Read on in the full article.

The amount RAM on the n76 is impressive!

By the way, why do AAS only post news about external reviews regarding nokia devices??? There are two recent reviews about the P1 in my-symbian and mobile-review, and you guys did not mention those at all...if you really want to balance AAS a bit more, making it less "All About Nokia", things like that shouldnt happen...

It's not deliberate! 😊

I'll post a news item about those right now.

However, I should point out those aren't really reviews because they're based on prototypes. You cannot rely on the production model being the same, quite often features are added or take away by the time a phone gets to the shops.

I really don't think mobile-review or my-symbian should even be using the word "review" with these articles, it would be like trying to do a film review based on a rough cut of a movie that hasn't been edited properly and hasn't had all the special effects added.

Point taken krisse! Even so, i think those are worthy of being posted in AAS news, like you did 😉

Good job, i think you guys are in the right path to make AAs truly for ALL symbian users

We do cover UIQ as much as we can, we have nothing against the interface. 😊 The last AAS Pub Meet even had a representative of Sony Ericsson in attendance.

If there's more news about S60 it's mainly beacause there are more S60 models and software releases to write about. But if we do miss out anything important, please feel free to complain as it helps us make a better site.

We did do an in-depth P1 preview a couple of weeks ago, so it's not like we were ignoring the device:
