Just wanna ask if its worth the upgrade. I currently have 3.16 on my unit and i'm experiencing occational system errors/hang. One more thing, can anyone here give me a suggestion on what place to go to have the upgrade. I'm at Manila, Philippines right now and somebody told me that Semicon is a good place to go. Any bad feedbacks on this particular service center? Thanks. . .

my current firm is 4.37 if you want the red palatte upgrade it on 4.37 coz vodfone made it and 4.39 nokia made,they say 4.39 and 4.37 is almost the same except the red palatte. 😉

pare first they will charge 1,500 tawadan mo lang,i got it 800 pesos mahal pa rin,it will take only 15mins taps ok na. ok sila maghandle don't worry about that bro. 😃

Thanks 4 the info pare. Well, Semicon is charging me P500 4 the upgrade but still dont know if there service is good. Any comment on this?

Semicon has v4.39 and the charges is P500 non-warranty unit.
I went to Semicon Rockwell and they told me i have to leave my phone there for 3 days because they have to send it to the headquarters. So i asked where could i get it upgraded then and there, they refer me to SM Manila, Megamall or North EDSA. But when i got over to Semicon SM Manila, they told me to leave my phone there for 3 days as well as they are worried problems will arise after the upgrade. They have the facility to upgrade then and there but i really don't know WTF is their problem. I'm using 3.16 at the moment too.
Leave my phone there and what should i use? Nokia 3210 or 3310?

me usin 3.12 no probs. me waitin tiill my country gets 4.37 or whichevers got red pallette
Just got my unit upgraded. I noticed it to be faster than 3.16, especially in LOG thingy. I can now see my log in a flash. But one thing that I notice is that when you load WAP SERVICES, it's much slower than 3.16. I'm not saying I'm using that thing (using WEBVIEWER instead). Well, just curious if you guys experience the same thing. Still trying to find some weird occurences i guess.
good new with the 4.39 SW the phone does not freeze anymore,i used to cop alot of freezing on my 7650 due to a lot of mms usage but now no more of those kern exel error stupid messages etc etc,works great

I think that is because it was one of the bug fixes in v 4.39: In lower version the device used to crash,freeze when sending multiple MMS.
has anyone got 4.37 and lives in essex i can only get 3.16 in chelmsford i dont want that i want the one with red palette
