Sloooow Texting with N76

I've just received my N76 and overall, I'm delighted with it.

One problem I am faced with is the age it takes to send texts or to open up the messaging menus.

I had this problem with my N73 before Nokia released an update that improved the speed no end.

Any idea if this is the case with other N76 mobiles?

Also, how do I find out what firmware version is loaded?

I've solved the problem with slow texting.

For some reason, the Messaging system was setup to read from and write to the external memory card. Changing to the phone memory has made an amazing difference.

Lightning Fast now.

Happy Texter now.
