I lost and accidentally removed all Office applications but was able to retrieve back by installing through PC suite. But not for File Manager.sis. It stops during installation, and Note says "Access is denied". How do I solve this? HELP I've tried copying data to communicator and install fr control panel, same problem still. HELP HELP  😮ops:
How to re-install File Manager
I've found in the past that once your system is running with some open applications, then it is not possible to install all apps. The "Access denied" error message. What worked for me was to reboot the system and then, without opening any other apps, install the sis file.
Thanks cmatthee. Have tried it but it doesnt work still. I hope others can give us some assistance.
😉 backup...format...reinstall...restore backups... done.
Please install first all Nokia MMC card data and after that the Nokia all data sis file.
This is the best way.
As dazler mentioned (Believe me it works-I have 45%Mem free after restart) try to install all memory data files individually, not all in a sys file.
This will improve a lot 😉 your 9210 behaviour.
I did it as well and it's much better!!! :P
:P oh yeah baby!!!
just want to know if your communicator is already okay. hope so...
Formatted my communicator again and didn't use any nokia_all_data.sis file 😃
first I formatted my d drive ... then I formatted my c drive using the key combo...
Than I searched for all individual sis files.
You'll find that a few are lacking ... like clock, profile, display, calculator and imagaging
These can be isntalled from a backup (only install those files)
After that you can install the other individual sis files and you can restore contacts.db and stuff...
Final result 45% ram free 70% c free ... got almost everything installed on D (since c and D are equally fast)
I left out all the thins I didn't want ... like the accesoires app, help app, wap app, fax app, and all those other things I never used ...
When you re-install all the sales package apps one by one,do you install them all on mmc or on the c:rom of the 9210???
d is recomended.
But I still think somehow C access is mutch faster 😃
