First u need this program to convert asf and wmv to mpg TMPGenc:

no matter what the dimensions of the video are, this program changes it to 320x240.
Then download this software VIRTUALDUB:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/v.../virtualdub.cfm
1 go to "video", "filters". "add" and "resize." Set the resize to 192x144.
2 go to "video", "compression" and pick Microsoft MPEG-4 VK1 codec V1.
then save as an avi file.
Then convert it to MP4. 8) 8)
I added this to the FAQ at pdaPhoneHome....
I tried to export a mp3 file with QuickTime PRO to a mp4 file... generally you save about 25% space!
Very nice, so now I can have even more "mp3"s 😃
Hmm.. I'm quite stupid though.. realized that I went from 192kbps to 128kpbs as well, so that reduced the filesize... still think that mp4 is better compresseion than mp3 though... 😊

I tried this - my .wmv file went from 518kb to 23Mb - and the P800 is not able to handle files this big - Is there an other way around this?
