I bought new N95 3 weeks ago and from first call it made squeeking noises during calls . It usually squeeked few times when connecting and few more during call or in worst case it squeeked nonstop making normal call impossible.
After four days I returned it to store (apparently Nokia has policy of changing defective phone to new if its returned within one week).
After 3 weeks got new phone and now only two days it started to make same noise?
I´m using same SIMcard I used with 6670 with no problems.
Any similar experiences with anyone and what could cause this?
:con? :con? :con?
Only thing i can think of is if you have a faulty screen that sometime "whistles" whilst its lit and can be heard during some calls. Send it back and get another replacement.

when you call someone, you touch gallery and photo buttons with fingers and that make your phone squeek ! so don't do that 😊

Mine does it too, so your not going mad 😉
Mine does not do it that much but when it does its annoying.
Did you find out what causes it to happen?

This has been mentioned on several forums by hundreds of N95 users.
I personally never had this problem, but most cases were solved by deactivating the keypad tones.
Keytones can be accessed thru Meny/tools/settings/General/personalisation/tones/keypad tones/off
Hope this helps.

Thanks mate !!!
Keytones off and NO squeeking anymore :top: .
aha you can turn off key tones, so when you call someone and touch photo or gallery button you will not hear anything squeaky 😉
I tried that and it still squeeks - whenever its on, apart from when its on standby mode - very very high pitched noise. any suggestions?
There is a problem with these N95's and the earpiece speaker. It creates a buzzing sound when you press keys and are on a voice call.
There is a solution to this, it's called the "poke fix". If you look in the ear piece, you will see two small holes (one on each side). Take a small sewing needle and gently tap those holes until the buzzing sound goes away. It shouldn't take more than one or two taps.
