2 Gig Micro SD ULTRA II & 2GB Micro SD Card

Will The N95 benefit by using the 2 Gig Ultra 2 Card, in fact will it even work

I used to have the Sandisk 2GB Ultra II card, it worked well.

I've got the Sandisk 4GB SDHC card now.

I haven't noticed any speed difference between the two.

The SDHC card is rated slower!

The SDHC is rated slower the Ultra II, and if you compared the cards in a USB 2.0 reader then the Ultra should be quicker. But I don't think the phone is quick enough to use the extra speed. Which could be why I haven't noticed a difference in the speed.

I got my 4GB for 39, I guess that's the standard price. It may come down when the 8GB cards become available.

I see your one works out at 42.40 which is about the same price as Amazon. I doubt I will find it cheaper than that.
cheers for that.

That sounds about right, I bought a few different cards at the same time.

I've used PicStop a few times, good service.

The phone as a Mass storage device will tell you all.
Set it up and transfer something like a set of maps from your PC to the Ultra II card and then do the same with the SDHC!
You will notice the difference then!

I don't know if you will, the transfer rate through the phone in Mass Storage mode is a lot slower than using a card reader.

I would say a lot slower than the SDHC card in a card reader, therefore it shouldn't make any difference. Not sure if anyone has done a thorough test on it though, maybe I will later...

You are right it is slower!
But you still notice the difference!
