Yup, you read that right. The Sony Ericsson P1i, combining the best bits of the original UIQ 3-powered P990 and M600, is only 4 days away from availability, according to Expansys. It's listed at only £336 plus VAT, too, at which price it should do very well. And no, we've been unable to pry a review unit from Sony Ericsson. Watch this space...

Clove Technology have it in stock now and selling for 315 + VAT.
Hmmm .. Is this a paid for advert for Expansys? Nothing wrong with a plugging a great service like theirs but maybe this one was just a little OTT?
Sorry. News story now updated!! And a P1i has now been bought by Rafe and despatched!
And we'll have a video and text review up very soon. Give us a week to play with it etc.

...and tell us how buggy the software is!
plenty of users with the P1 already...check my-symbian and esato...not buggy it seems, you must be sad???
The P1 is already obsolete technology from 2006.
Now that its here, how about a comparian article of the P1i with an appropriate Nokia N Series or E Series phone???
Also, any idea which operators will be stocking the phone? I've had a look through their sites but found nothing. I hope that it's on t-mobile then I can get this web n walk thing that seems so impressive on paper!
I just checked o2, They have it listed on their site, while their text and talk plans are pretty good their data rates are appaling, 1mb included with all contracts and then you can add a whopping (!) 2MB extra for 3. shocking.
