Battery life for GPS

Im interested in what battery life people get when using the GPS.

I want to know the figures for always on till dead.

Meaning, from a full battery, how long does your GPS last till dead? Screen on constantly, maintaining sat lock, with voice prompts. Please no-one using a BT receiver, that makes the whole thing scewed.

Im unsure about mine, but I reckon 2 hours solid use. I know its not an N95 (6110) but Im interested all the same. Besides, theres no forum for the 6110 navigator yet and the N95 is the nearest one (GPS built in, and same symbian).

I do have a car charger from ebay, but because my car is stupid and has the cig lighter by the handbrake, the charger isnt long enough. That can be sorted, but Id like to see how long others phones last.

I used my N95 on the Eurostar at the weekend, had it locked on the satalites the whole way (except tunnels of course), using the internal GPS.

It was fully charged when we left and it almosted lasted the whole journey, the journey was 2 hours 40 mins long and it cut out 10 mins before the end. Minus the 20mins under The Channel, that's about 2 hours 10 mins - not very impressive.

Did clock the train at 190.1mph though, that is impressive.
