Pages opening is not necessarily OS problem!
What is your internet access setup and who do you get it from?

Mmmmm!
Don't know much about sky internet but check if they use a Proxy Server and whether you need to specify DNS servers for url name resolution!

I use Sky broadband wirelessly too without any problem. Sky Broadband itself however is garbage - forever dropping connections. Do you have any speed problems using the PC rather than the phone?

Do you mean pages as in the menu's/app's?

If so mine is the same but there isn't much you can do about that I don't think. I got my n95 2 days ago and I'm just starting to get the hang of it now. Take a quick look at the user guide it explains most of the things you need to know the rest is trial and error.

WLAN- Wireless Local Area Network- As you probably know (seeing as you have sky broadband wireless) you can use the internet through the wireless router. As for your problem...Try this (just a wild guess).
Go To.. Menu/Tools/Conn. Man/Available WLAN Networks.
You should see your modem router name..Select options and click define access point It should ask for the key again.

GPS - Maps/Sat Nav/GPS Position etc... Pretty straight forward you can download map loader off of the nokia website. That helps get your maps of certain countrys etc. I'd advise you purchase (if you haven't already) a memory card. N95's take micro SD's. I've got a 2GB Micro SD Ultra II..works pretty well and fast. The reason for purchasing a memory card is (among other reasons) that the maps are quite large in file size and you don't want to be clogging up your phones memory.

And as for the barcode reader..Not quite cracked that one yet myself but I imagine it can't be that hard.

Enjoy your new phone 😉

hey seejay, thanks for your help,

i had managed to findhow to change my key code it was asking for but it still is saying it is wrong?

i cant work it out i've took the code from the bottom of the sky wireless router??

also can you explain a bit more about the maps and downloading them (step by step) as ima bit of a technophobe. i already have a 1gb cardthat the phone came with

cheers

1. Download Nokia Maploader from Nokia.com or smart2go.com. Install it on your PC.
2. Before you download maps to your memory card be sure to start "Maps" application on phone once. When done exit Maps and connect your phone to your PC in "Fast transfer" or "Media" mode (requires that you have installed PC suite and connected phone once to have the proper drivers installed).
3. Start MapLoader and follow instructions to download maps to your memory card in phone. Of course, if you have a card reader in your PC you can use that in conjunction with MapLoader instead of connecting your phone.

More Q&A's can be found on smart2go website here. Some good info, I suggest you read it http://www.smart2go.com/en/help/faq

Are you sure its the right code you entered..or even if its the right code for your router. I've not used sky broadband so I don't really know much about key settings but I imagine you can change the keys, maybe you've done that and forgot?

Also you mentioned the barcode reader..Well I was fiddling about with it today and managed to get it to work. All it does is de-code bars/graphics into english text/numbers for you. Not sure what exactly you'd need it for but still a fascinating little application on the N95. Maybe its for business use (thats why its under office menu)
