Do you think that it"s possible to increase the quality of the photo ? may be trying to change the lens or something else ????

Nope 😞 U cud try replacing the camera bit with the T68i attachment camera bit... its doable, and would get lovely results
Who said that the t68i camera is better?
Every one 😃 😉

I've had a T68i and the images are MUCH better than those taken with the 7650.

Images have no bottle effect - have better colour - and are genrally crisper and more focused.

Thou taken decent pictures using that dam pathetic T68 screen is another story! 😮)

Now let me tell you what I have read in an German magazine about wireless devices called "CONNECT" issue 01|12.12.2002|

Page 112. Camerahandys in comparison.

The article basicaly compares all camera mobiles's picture quality with not just "oh this looks a bit better than that" philosophy, but with software that counts colours and etc.

Mobiles tested:

Siemens S55
SonyEricsson T68i (MCA 20)
SonyErrcsson T300 (MCA 25)
Nokia 7650
Motorola T720i
Panasonic GD87
Sharp GX10

I will only mention the T68i and Nokia 7650 here.

Nokia 7650 picture quality: gut (good)

Comments: high resolution and good quality.

SonyErricson T68i picture quality: befriedigend (which means something like just acceptable)

High resolution but with low depth and coulour detail.

To sum it up the article says that mobile phones do not replace real cameras and that the quality of the Siemens S55 picture is the best.

I totally agree with the article, Camera phones are for fun NOT for taking serious pics 😊

the program Photographer by Nokia (i think, porbably not so please don't make a big deal out of it) increases the photo quality of photos taken with it's program by refreshing the frames after you've taken it and overlapping them until it's renderre, it takes about 5 seconds to take a photo which is the downside but the quality is a lot better. with a t68i, isn't he phone limited to 256 colors? whereas the nokia 7650 is a "little" higher? although the SPV is in a different league

oo, i was meaning the umm screen resolution, it's got a few more figures than the nokia 7650

no way, the t68i's camera is much much worse than the 7650's, i've owned the t68i and have a 7650 at the moment and there is no comparison. 7650 wins hands down!
as for putting the t68's camera on it! 😃 good joke! it would be easier to increase the memory on the phone!

guys im a 7650 owner and ive had both these phones and the mca 20 photos are clearer than the 7650 photos... i will post photos so we can all compare..ive got them in my laptop at home ill get on and post em soon ok??

Lets bring them on...however it would be good if we could see the same picture with the t68i and the 7650....since light conditions can change results!

both photos are taken with the mca20 and the 7650 i used my motorcycle so we can see the differences in the photo quality

Well a friend of mine has t68i with a communicam (I don't remember the number but I'm sure it's the latest).

We test both of them to see the difference. When taking photos on standard, t68i was far better (to see the difference you have to look very close) but in night mode it was almost the same.
So I can't say which is better but both are excelent for not high quality photos especially taken for the Internet,e-mail,mms etc...

Each one has it's pros and cons (eg. 7650 has some bugs which can be fixed through software like photographer but it has a much better screen for previewing (I say for previewing only) the photos. The difference is huge between 12 and 8bit).
Lets bring them on...however it would be good if we could see the same picture with the t68i and the 7650....since light conditions can change results!
very true but look at the edges at least,as for the lighting conditions it has a difference but the mca-20 photos are clearer than the 7650

On highest settings, the same photo [viewed on the PC] the t68i is MUCH MUCH better, I have used [tested] both devices, the 7650 has the advantage of being 'easyer to access', and better preview on the handset itself, but actuall photo quality, the MCA-20 communi cam is superior.

Guys,i have read reviews from people which are comptetent to tell which one is better,it was a long time ago, even before a bought my 7650.
All i can remeber is that: the 7650 had better quality and it displayed green color a lot better then the t68i.

a lot of you people say the 7650 camera is better, but judging by the pics posted by john, it's a completely different story! yup, light conditions may be the big difference, but i've taken pics in really good lighting conditions and i've never had that same (or better) quality as that from the T68i. :-?

i dont and wont usually care about issues like these, because as mentioned the cameras of mobiles phones isn't for serious photography - i, and im sure most of you have digi cams for that. i just want to share my observations. 8)

.... is supposed to have a different camera-modeule than the 7650, so it should (hopefully) have the best picture-quality

Any experiences anyone?

Here we go!
At last some picture taken with the 3650!!
I found them over on the 3650 forum

Very impressive being as these pix are takin indoors under flouresent lighting.

look what i found... ive taken some more photos when i had both the T68 and mca20 and the 7650 i took the same photo at the ruffly the same time with the same weather...look at these photos with a 30 minute difference and in a sunny to cloudy day but i made sure the light conditions were the same. both are 40-42kb in size

hmmmmmm.....t68i picture from the mc20 camera looks waaaaayy better! I will do my own test and tell you the results! The 7650 picture however is quite bad compare to standart pic taken with the 7650. I am starting to change my mind here...

mc20 pictures look great, but i hate that packing algorythm it uses,
causes those pixels to appear in the picture. Its strange.
But 7650 can do better than that picture there.

So why then has SE in it's infinite wisdom chosen NOT to use the same camera-module in the P800? :robot:
