Firstly the radio, here in the UK it seems there is no support for Visual radio (whatever that is), however why cant you use the radio when the N95 is in the 'offline' mode? Or am I missing something.?
When going to 'contacts' the N95 only seems to list contacts stored in the phone, to see the SIM contacts you hav to go via the options etc, any way to make the phone look at either the SIM contacts or better still both phone and SIM contacts?
Finally, any way to stop the annoying 'Nokia start up screen and associated music? just want to turn on and thats it !

Don't think you can get rid of the graphics, but the sound is removed by setting Warning Sounds off in your current profile.
You can get visual radio in the UK on Virgin Radio I think

Yep but that is the ONLY supporting station in the entire UK, and it sucks :frown:
There is an option for a start up image, but then again it show up only after that hands thing. 😞
I think there is no way to disable the startup animation.
Have you tried spodradio. Its got some UK channels I believe.

Go to google and search for visual radio, select the first link, and you can see what it's like, and it'll show two more radio stations in the UK that support it (albeit only in bristol and bath).
I live in the UK too and have had visual radio on two different phones over the last year or so. My advice? Don't bother with it as it's nothing special.
BTW I would've posted the direct url but this forum claims I haven't posted enough to do that yet.
