TomTom Mobile 6 and Maps

This is not the normal rant about TomTom and internal GPS issue this is a geuine question about the maps for tomtom

I have just purchased the updated US and Canada maps for my TomTom One for a trip coming up soon. I have an external bluetooth GPS receiver hat works well with the N95.

My question is, does anybody know if the maps are compatible (they are both v6 after all ) and if they are what do I need to do to get them onto my N95....??

I've previously asked TomTom the same thing. They sad no but I tried and it all worked just fine. Seems as the maps are the same that are used for all type of devices regardless of OS.

How did you do it and what files did you have to copy across, obviously I need a bigger card than the 2gb one I have but if you know what files it would be a great help
