i have tried to make a Conference call with 2 peoples,
1st i calle dthe 1st person and add a new call (2nd person)
when i add the second one 1st one went on hold, then i went to option and select Conference. it say not responding.. (error message) .
what is the reason for this. any one know?

I don't know whether Conference Calling is a network feature these days or a phone feature. Certainly when it first came out it was classed as a network feature and your cellular provider had to activate the facility for you, often for a fee.
This is going back some years though.
But perhaps the cellular provider still has control over its use and you need to speak with them first.

Just tried it on my N95 (T-Mobile UK) and I couldn't get it to work either.

I can conference call on mine.
I'm with Vodafone UK, but I have to enable it with them first.
